WWW

Last week was week without walls. I went to Thailand with lots of other 8th graders. I did many fascinating things I would have never done in Dubai. Not only did I do really cool things, I also learned an important lesson. I learned that no matter how different you are from someone you are also very similar. Through these similarities you can become very close.

When I first left for Thailand I did not know many of the people on my trip. I thought we were different and at school we never interacted much. As the trip went on I could tell that I was not as different from them as I had thought. We did many team building activities, we screamed at bugs, laughed at jokes, and after the amount of adventures we had gone through I started realizing how similar we all were. By the end of the trip we had become really close and even when we came back to school we talked(which we scarsley did before WWW) and laughed about our past experiences. I realized that everyone is similar in some way and everyone can become friends through learning how similar they really are. This has happened to me and will probably happen to me again.

Thought Provoking Questions

What do we live for? Why do we try to suceed? Why do we go through school(and other similar stressing things) instead of living our lives as if there were no tomorrow? What if there were no tomorrow?

What Is Life

one second finished,

a lifetime ahead

a tear on this page,

a life of regret

all the steps that we take,

in a direction we choose

to discover a future,

that might not be there

what is a future,

what is the cost

what is succeeding,

is everything lost

one person trying,

the rest not at all

a tear on this page,

until we all fall

what do we work for,

what is a life

do you love/do you hate,

does it matter at all

Other Blogs

I went to lots of other cool blogs and looked at some of the things people wrote on blogs. I found one very interesting. It was a dance blog. This blog was the blog of a professional dancer. She wrote about all the ballets she had worked on, not for money just to tell people. I thought this was really cool because she could have made money, and told people about the shows and things like that, but instead she is just sharing the memory with people. Now i have my own writing blog where i can share my writing with other people!!!
